Around 50% of all our vehicle fit-out is carried out at customers’ premises.
Depots, yards, compounds and site offices. If it is easier for the vehicles to stay where they are, they stay where they are and we travel — a few at a time, so the rest of the fleet keeps working.
For certain jobs we also bring in specialised sub-contractors we have worked with for years, with their own tickets and tooling. The job stays ours to manage, and ours to answer for.

ask us first
How quickly can you turn a job around?
It depends on the job and what is already in the diary. Tell us the vehicle and the date you need it back, and we will give you a straight answer rather than a hopeful one.
Do you fit on site, or does the vehicle come to you?
Most work is done at the workshop, where we have the bench, the stock and the ramp. For plant that cannot easily travel, talk to us — there are installs that make sense to do where the machine sits.
How far do you cover?
We are based in Hertfordshire but we can fit anywhere within the UK. Either using our own fitters or a team of specialised sub-contractors whom we have used for many years.
Can TAD i-am be hired rather than bought?
Yes — the system is available to purchase or to hire at competitive rates. Which works out better depends on how long you need it, and whether it is a trial or a rollout.
Can we trial it before committing?
That is what most people do. A limited number of TAD i-am 3 test units are available, so a team can prove the access control, the fitting and the reporting on their own site first.
Do you have documentation for our procurement team?
Yes. We are Achilles registered and FSB members, and can supply company, insurance and health-and-safety documentation. Ask and we will send the pack over.
